About Me

Archived Software

Several things have been happening over the last few years that have made my previous website irrelevant.
  • I really haven't been working on desktop software anymore.
  • I have a desire to write (although my writing skills are quite lacking).
  • I'm considering a change in careers
I started doing contract work in August 2003 for a local advertising agency.  I became an employee in April 2004.  Most of my work has been ASP.NET using C#.  I have barely touched VB or Delphi since, even for my own projects.  I quit selling shareware, and made it all free.  Sales had been pretty pathetic since mid-2002 anyway.

I believe my written communication skills have deteriorated over the last few years.  I'm hoping that regular writing can reverse this change.  I've never been a great writer, but I hope I can improve to the point of making this blog a worthwhile read.

I've begun to have second thoughts about writing code for a living.  I'm not sure what direction I'll go at this point.  I never did go to college, so my options are limited, unless I take the time to go college.

A note to my co-workers:
If you find this, this is a long-term goal, I'm not leaving next week or anything.  Don't get too excited.
